Bio

Natalia Vázquez Ochoa, Guadalajara 1987, is a Mexican dancer and multidisciplinary artist, graduated form the Professional School of Dance of Mazatlan directed by Delfos Dance Company, she continued with her personal movement research as well as her professional training with different teachers, dancers and choreographers, in Mexico and abroad, like David Zambrano, Martin Kilvády, Raakesh Sukesh, Eulalia Ayguade, Karen de Luna, Kathleen Hermedorff, Andee Scott, Shantí Vera, Iñaky Azpillaga, Erika Méndez, Jos Baker, Meytal Blanaru, Hun-Mok Jung, Seoljin Kim and Peter  Krc among others.

Currently she works as a freelance dancer and choreographer as she develops transdisciplinary projects along with digital artist Luciano Rodríguez, exploring the use of technology and digital media in their stagings. Their work as a creative duo is developed in the fields of lighting, sound design, interactivity, costume and scenography design and abstract movement.

Natalia is also in charge of CIMA Studio, an artistic platform for research, creation and teaching of movement techniques and digital arts, this space is located in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.
